The workhorse of heavy industry — tough, weldable, economical.
Carbon cast steel covers the majority of heavy industrial castings: slag pots, machine bases, housings and structural components. We pour all common grades to ASTM, EN, DIN, JIS and GB standards.

All carbon steel heats are LF-refined with sulfur and phosphorus each held below 0.025% (0.020% on request), which dramatically improves toughness and weldability versus unrefined cupola or induction melts.
Standard supply condition is normalized, or normalized and tempered. Charpy V-notch impact testing at ambient or sub-zero temperatures is available where the application demands verified toughness.
