Stress Relief Heat Treatment
Four computer-controlled gas furnaces up to 13×8×5 meters.
Mechanical properties are made — or destroyed — in heat treatment. Our four CNC high-temperature natural-gas furnaces (12×7×5m, 8×4×3.5m, 8×4×3.3m and 13×8×5m) are large enough to treat 300-ton castings in a single charge with uniform temperature distribution.
We perform annealing, normalizing, quenching and tempering with computer-logged temperature curves for every charge. Stress-relief cycles after rough machining bring residual stresses down before final machining, so your casting holds its dimensions in service.
Every heat-treatment record is archived against the casting's heat number and delivered as part of the EN 10204 3.1 documentation package.
