FWD STEEL CASTING

Cast Steel Material Standards

Specify your standard — ASTM, EN, DIN, JIS or GB — and our metallurgical engineers configure the exact chemistry and heat-treatment parameters to meet or exceed it. Every heat is LF-refined and spectrometer-verified.

Carbon Steel (ASTM A27, ZG230-450)

The workhorse of heavy industry — tough, weldable, economical.

Carbon cast steel covers the majority of heavy industrial castings: slag pots, machine bases, housings and structural components. We pour all common grades to ASTM, EN, DIN, JIS and GB standards.

  • ZG230-450
  • ZG270-500
  • ZG310-570

Alloy Steel (ASTM A148, GS-20Mn5)

Strength, hardenability and fatigue resistance for the hardest duty.

When carbon steel runs out of strength, alloy cast steels take over: girth gears, kiln support rollers, mill housings, press columns and any component where fatigue life and section hardenability decide service life.

  • ZG35CrMo
  • ZG42CrMo

Stainless Steel Castings

Corrosion, cavitation and high-purity service — up to 60 tons per piece.

Martensitic, austenitic and duplex stainless castings for hydropower runners, pump components, valve internals and chemical equipment, poured from AOD-quality refined heats.

  • CF8 / CF8M
  • Duplex 4A/5A

Not Sure Which Grade Your Application Needs?

Describe the service conditions — load, temperature, wear, corrosion — and our metallurgists will recommend the most economical grade that meets them.
