Pattern Making & Casting Simulation (CAE)

Defects are eliminated on screen, before the first mold is made.

Every new project starts in our engineering office, not the foundry floor. Customer 2D/3D drawings (STEP, IGES, PDF) are converted into casting process designs with risers, chills and gating optimized by CAE simulation — shrinkage cavities and porosity are predicted and engineered out digitally.

Our pattern shop then builds wooden or metal patterns to the verified process design. Patterns are stored in a managed warehouse for repeat orders, and pattern costs can be amortized or rebated for long-term contracts.
